Online Training is now AVAILABLE for the 2011 Tax Season:
The online training can be found at www.irs.gov under the search heading of LINK AND LEARN.
New this year: Volunteer Standard of Conduct Training and Test - this must be taken before the tax law portion can be taken.
Online training can be done at your pace and must be completed before you prepare tax returns. For those that do not want to prepare returns but simply greet the taxpayers, then please take the Standard of Conduct Training and Testing only.
Books can be obtained at the following locations:
- United Way of Panama City on Mulberry Avenue - after today
- United Way of Escambia on Government Street - after the 17th
- AABC mini conference in Enterprise on November 16th or with Judy Crowley of Enterprise Family Services
- Chipola College - plan to ship soon

Face to face training is being set aside for new volunteers and those returning who cannot go through Link & Learn.
The following dates are tentative dependent upon the federal budget:
- Panama City - FSU Holly Center - December 12th, 13th, 14th and 15th - please contact myself or Shannon Cromer to sign up for the training at the FSU center. (Class starts at noon on the 12th).
- Dothan - January 6th, 7th, 13th and 14th. Saliba Family Services in Dothan. (Half days on the Friday's and Full days on the Saturday's). Please contact me or Holly McCarroll for sign up to the class
- Pensacola - Pensacola will be held at either UWF or New Horizons in January - TBD - please contact myself or Pam at United Way for sign up.
